t-n-t's Punthology t-n-t's Punthology

Yes, the end.

Regretfully, today’s comic is the last t-n-t strip.

Life has been getting in the way of the comic and vice versa in the past few months, and my decision to end the comic has been dragged out a pretty long time. Right now, I have many, many issues that require 100% of my attention, and making a webcomic has hindered this.

I could cut down on the frequency of updates, or even go on a hiatus. But right now, I don’t foresee any chances of me returning to webcomicking in a while. Ending t-n-t seems to be the right thing to do, cos it deserves the respect of a proper finale. Hence the extra long comic today.

I apologize to my readers for never having completed the long-form storyline. Perhaps, somewhere in the future…..?

Thanks for reading and supporting, it’s been great for me. And I’m kinda hoping, you had a crazy time too.

Good luck, and signin’ out…

Your cartoonist,
Keong C.

Don’t snicker at the corny “walk off into the sunset” cliche at the end!

  2. Mike Says:

Oh wow, didn’t really see that coming. I’m not going to say I’m not going to miss reading tnt (ohh, hope I got double negative right!) but if it’s affecting your personal life and you think it’s the right thing to do, then it is the right thing to do.

I’m glad you got to 200 strips before stopping =)

Hope to still see you around

*I like the fact the laptop is left open and not closed…*

Wow, I’m shocked. But what a great final comic! I have more thoughts, but I put them in a thread I started at TWCL.

    Thanks for the great comics!

  4. Noel Says:

That is a really great comic to leave on. You’ve done a great job on this sucker and I hope you won’t hang up your cartooning shoes for good. Keep a sketchbook around, do some stuff on the fly, keep the creative juices going and remember you did over 200 pieces of work that you can be proud of. And keep leaving comments on my cartoon dammit.

Wow, and 1 day before my birthday too, guess i would never see the 12th of may comic.
Totally unexpected, you seemed fine until now, but oh well, too bad about the plot to break the world though.

Can’t blame you, life can be pretty hectic nowadays. Hope you can sort out all the issues in your life.

    Goodbye Mr. speearr. For now.

See you around. Will check everyday (yeah, i do that for all the webcomic i read XP)

  7. sebelulu Says:

  8. speearr Says:

thanks everybody for all the comments! i really enjoyed making all these comics. stopping t-n-t is kinda hard cos i still think it’s incomplete, but that’s life.

  9. Jackson Says:

Thanks for the ride, man. It’s been fun.

*salutes you* good work there. I’ve been reading it for about a month, but it’s still pretty damn awesome. I’m expecting/hoping this to be some type of joke, but I don’t think so. If it is, I’m going to withdraw my name from ever posting on a webcomic ever again. Despite that, I can see how this would be in the way of everything. This deserves some type of final sendoff, just a long strip doesn’t seem long enough. It needs it’s own freakish parody of a funeral. One I’m not paying for. Just a note for any disastrously and insanely cruel webcomic writers out there, This is a good way to get people that visit but say nothing to comment. But also insensibly cruel. Yes I do intend on making this a big chunk of text. Since you seem to like doing this, I can see how hard it would be for you to drop it. I’m actually a forgiving person, which by some odd thing, makes me understand how hard it is for people to do things. For how forgiving I am, I’d forgive the person that killed me or crippled me for life, as long as they had ANY excuse. even something like “sorry for dropping the piano on you, I was trying to get the ant next to your foot”, or more seriously, “I felt like it”. Therefore, I understand how it is for you, and you don’t believe me. Nobody ever does. ah well. letting you know, which you already do, that lots of people are going to miss this webcomic. I’m one of them. farewell.

  11. Stud Kickass Says:

Thanks sir, I owe you tons. Your were a huge inspiration to my comic, and literally made helped me make something out of well crap. Your were one of the few that supported it thanks.

  12. Dave Says:

Well, that sucks, but life must take priority. Thanks for all work you put into T-N-T.

  13. Tara Says:

Whoa, dude, for serious? I feel like I just got here and the party’s ending already! If you do find yourself missing the webcomic scene some time in the future and decide to make a comeback, be sure to let us all know!

  14. speearr Says:

I will definitely want to return to making webcomics in the future. I don’t see that happening anytime soon, not within this year definitely. Thanks again for the comments and for reading all this while!

  15. OnyxSparrow Says:

… and another one bites the dust… major props for pulling off a proper ending comic though! Shine on you crazy dimond. *salutes*

  16. tbowl Says:

This is the best way to end it. Up until now people just disappear on me. *Seriously has a list*

Thanks for letting us know and I’m glad its not for a drama reason.

Take it easy! Keep your email open in case I need a guest strip. :P

  17. Immer Says:

Great ending. Yup, I’m a lurker.

It’s a shame that t-n-t is ending, but you have accomplished quite a lot in your run. Your artwork has improved immensely within a single year, and your set ups are always well done. I will truly miss your strip good sir.

Again, words can’t express how amazing your ending is. Amazing run t-n-t; amazing run Keong.

  18. kallisti Says:

Man, I’m going to be sorry to see this go… but, of all the noble sacrifices that webcomics have made, shutting down for the sake of real life is one of the better ones. Good luck on where your next adventure, online or offline, takes you.

  19. SEA Says:

    *NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.*

Sorry, gotta get that out of me. T_T

  20. speearr Says:

Happy birthday SEA, sent you an e-mail.

  21. Jeromatic Says:

Fare thee well. I don’t think Trent was walking off into a sunset, but into a sunrise.
    May it always be bright!

  22. Jynksie Says:

Best of luck to you ! I have but one piece of advice, keep drawing on the side when you aren’t doing much else… otherwise, a long pause will diminish your progress, as I have learned. I HAD to take a 5 year hiatus from comic-ing and boy am I rusty!

One more thing, you’ll miss it more than you realize and you WILL be back someday !

  23. Vorguees Says:

    What tha…!? wait what!?

    Why!!!!!!????

I know you explained it but, why?????

  24. the Scarf Says:

    Oh, what a comic
    only just discovered
    now to be shut down.

    What a tragedy
    for such a froody comic.
    alas, what a day.

  25. Josh of Pixelton Says:

Wow, this is sad news. :(

Wishing you the best with everything in your life, and I’m hoping to see more heartfelt comics soon!

  26. Vorguees Says:

I think the last panel was cool or at least it wasn’t some ‘rambo-waking-to-the-end-of-the-road-or-maybe-hitchhiking’ rip off…..

Anyway, this is a moment, frind, you have done well, now go in peace, hahahahaha, sounds like someone is dead…. jhhaha. It’s been really great all this. I’m glad I took a part of it. Time changes and is time to move on. So…. you mind if I add you to my msn?

  27. Chris W. Says:

    Gonna miss me some TNT.

  28. Jeb Says:

Sad to hear you are done. I totally understand though. If only we could sit around all day and get paid to make webcomics…. but alas… you must move on. Good luck in the future.

  29. Dumbbum Says:

Sorry that you had to end it. That is a memorable final strip, thanks for all the laughs. You had a great presence in the webcomic community, always participating and helping the rest of us out. Good luck with everything and hopefully you’ll share more comics with us in the future. Your dedication was appreciated. Cheers and see ya!

  30. D.Bethel Says:

Good luck with everything, sir. I have enjoyed your strip and wish you the best.

    Keep a good thought.

  31. Ming Says:

Sorry to see you’re calling it a day. Good work though - 200 comics is no mean feat, and t-n-t is definitely something you can be proud of. Thanks for all your support over the last few months too.

  32. Dale Says:

This really is sad. You’re one of my favorite people on The Webcomics List and I was just starting to work my way through your archive. This is a good comic. I hope you’ll find a way to work it in and come back to it without it taking over your life. Meanwhile, we have 200 comics to read which is quite a contribution. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
    -Dale

Take a seat. No, really, take a seat..... Tell me how you feel.
