In all my 4 years of living with other students, I’ve always been ‘fortunate’ enough to be stuck with torrent-maniacs. They’re downloading films, music & who knows what 24/7, hogging up bandwidth and flooding my head with murderous thoughts. They even leave their computers running when they go to class. My solution: If I need to upload photos (remember, I was an avid photoblogger, the shame) or send a quick e-mail attachment, I just pop over to their rooms and pull their LAN cables out. I’d stick them in back later and they’re none the wiser…

Bazookas are so cool! hehehehe.
I feel kind of bad, I downloaded hundreds of gigabytes whilst I was in Uni halls, but, I did always do it at 4am in the morning, rarely ever during the day. Mainly because I know how irritating it is to try to update your site, or check the news etc, when the guy next door is downloading hundreds of, well, lets call them “arty” films. The solution is to change their IP settings when they leave their computer unattended, or disable their network card, it normally confuses them for quite a while. Though, they do tend to be very much the wiser…
